Privacy

Heatmap IQ helps website owners understand on-page behavior (clicks, scrolls, rage clicks). We are designed to be privacy-respecting by default.

What we collect

• Anonymous page path, viewport size, and event coordinates.
• Coarse device type (desktop / mobile / tablet) and a derived country code.
• A truncated, hashed IP — never stored in raw form.

What we never collect

• No names, emails, phone numbers, or form values.
• No canvas, font, audio, or hardware fingerprinting.
• No cross-site tracking — data is scoped per website.

Browser signals

We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC). When either is present, the tracker exits immediately without sending events.

Storage and security

Data is stored on Lovable Cloud (Supabase) with Row-Level Security. Each customer can only see their own websites and events.
